La Mirandola Farm is located on the slopes of Chianti, inside the production area of the renowned Chianti Classico, a wine known and appreciated the world over. This farm’s story began in 2000, when the young political science graduate Lorenzo Scala, always passionate about the history and culture of wine, took over La Mirandola from his grandfather. This skillful synergy between tradition and innovation, the careful attention required when moving the grapes from the vineyard to the winery, and in the winemaking process knowledgeably overseen by the winemaker Luano Bensi, has resulted in high-quality products.
In addition to the winery’s modest size‚ its small vinification tanks in the cellar and the primarily manual care of the vineyard facilitate selecting the best grapes to produce good wines.
Today, as in the past, La Mirandola Farm is a family-run enterprise managed by Lorenzo Scala, who chose to follow in his grandfather’s steps, producing a wine whose quality continues to improve.
